Welcome Baby Sophia!

August 27, 2010, 9:05 pm, Baby Sophia Meuy was born....
It was a joyous weekend for the entire family. Myka and Kao had their 1st baby. Although the process was extremely long and nerve racking, everybody was excited and happy and thankful for another blessing.

Sophia was born at 9:05. She weighs 6 lbs and 2 oz and we saw her immediately after that. We watched as the baby nurse washed her. Kao's family and us each had a turn to go inside the nursery and participate while the nurse gets baby Sophia ready for mom.

We waited for Myka to come out of the recovery room. We continued to admire and adore Sophia. It was a wonderful feeling just looking at Sophia's tiny face. She looks like an angel--well i know she is..She is God sent.
Myka came out of the recovery room at midnight and we were so glad to see her! She's a tough girl and we're so proud of her.
Now, Kao, Myka and Sophia are finally home. I can't wait to see them again this weekend.
We're all very happy for them!
